Welder

Job Title: *Welder* Pay Rate: *$20* to *$24/Hr.
* Duration: *12 Months * Location: *Rockford, TN* Shift *7:00 am - 3:30 pm (flexibility to work weekend shifts)* *Responsibilities:* * Maintain *Iridium fleet* * Weld Iridium crucibles to specifications * Enter information into a database daily * Clean metals using a media blaster * Use of an air hammer to maintain critical materials * Inspect the Iridium fleet and repair it as necessary * Follow process MPI documentation and safety procedures *Qualifications:* * *HS Degree* * Good communication and computer skills (Word and Excel) * Strong understanding of operating mechanical equipment.
* Experience working in a welding environment.
* Ability to interpret and analyze complex metals.
* Ability to *lift a minimum of 25Lbs* * Detail Orientated * Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment * Must be comfortable working in a hot environment *Preferred experience, skills, and education* * *Welding certification is a plus.
* * Hands-on metal working environment and basic use of hand tools.
* Experience working with media blasters.
* Experience maintaining complex equipment used for production * Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues * 1-3 years of Manufacturing environment experience preferred Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.
