The Quality Manager is responsible to ensure compliance with all policies, regulations and customer requirements for their area of responsibility.
Including but not limited to planning, implementation, people management, and support of customer needs.
This position exercises supervisory responsibility for quality inspectors, quality engineers, and assistant managers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide supervision and direction as needed to meet customer requirements and lead overall quality improvements.
Establish, monitor and report to management on quality objectives for the organization.
Manage the functional area of the Quality department assigned to them.
Manage administrative issues and performance evaluations of their direct reports.
Assist in developing department plans to support organization goals.
Lead problem solving teams as assigned, analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
Support the quality inspection process to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
Support EHS objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
8+ years related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Experience with high volume production process preferred.
Basic metrology skills, Blue print reading and SPC knowledge.
Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
ISO/IATF16949 quality system knowledge and related experience
Excellent communication and analytical skills
