The right person for this role will be able to learn our services, our mission, our values, and our industry to start providing solutions for a large client base.
As a waterproofing laborer, you will work alongside of our waterproofing mechanics to learn the basic skills and duties to successfully apply waterproof systems.
Given our service and position in the industry, you will gain more knowledge about the waterproofing industry and solving customer issues than anywhere else, while you maintain a record of exceeding your goals.
*Role Expectations: * * Apply caulking, sealants, and coatings to roofing and structural joints to prevent water from getting through * Apply technical skills such as tuckpointing, seal replacement, and below grade waterproofing * Determine the appropriate materials and processes to repair and waterproof a roof * Maintain proper safety codes and procedures to keep up with OSHA regulations * Work as part of a team to complete all aspects of jobs assigned and to make sure all work is done according to OSHA standards * Use hand tools and other equipment (e.
g.
scaffold, ladder) * Participate in regular safety meetings and abide by all safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection and others * Participate in company training events as assigned * Deliver excellent quality and customer satisfaction *Job Requirements:* * Must be 21 years old or over * Possess a valid driver's license * 3 years clean driving record * Familiarity with various hand tools * Attention to detail * Self-starter & proactive on the job site * Physical stamina to perform constant bending, kneeling, twisting/turning, crouching, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, reaching, navigating difficult terrain while at high elevation, walking on uneven surfaces, working in all weather conditions, and lifting (reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described functions) * Must be able to meet deadlines * Ability to read, analyze and interpret work-related documents * Be able to use math skills relevant to roofing * Observe safety and security procedures * Demonstrate the ability to meet and exceed standards and works quickly and accurately * Contribute to profits and revenues as well as conserve company resources * Must be able to work effectively with people * Not afraid of heights or ladders * Be on time for all shifts and prepared with all personal tools and PPE *Bonus Skills: * * Roofing / Waterproofing experience * Bilingual (including English) * OSHA 10 hour or 30 Hour Card * Aerial Man lift and Forklift Certified * First Aid/CPR *Why Eskola, LLC? * At Eskola, LLC you will learn more than you ever thought imaginable amongst a team that is incredibly passionate about our mission to help our customers solve their roofing problems with customized solutions.
