Occasional overtime or weekends Working environment: Warehouse atmosphere Job duties: Processing orders This includes Taking orders off of the office printer as they are printed.
Reviewing & proofing each order for obvious data entry errors or other problems before it is scheduled for production.
Interfacing with sales dept personnel on orders needing correction and/or helping getting order problems resolved.
Coordinating with other depts on order status & location Tracking all orders with pending backorder & researching the reason for each backorder Assisting with inventory control processes, cycle-counts, & helping research inventory discrepancies Skills, abilities, and/or knowledge required: Know how to use MS Excel (Basic to Intermediate level), Word, & Outlook Know general accounting processes and experience using accounting software Be able to handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment Be able & willing to learn to take charge, be pro-active, and assertive when necessary Be able to lift up to 50 lbs whenever required Helpful skills or knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or production methods
