Surface Igniter LLC is a small business in MANUFACTURING.
We are looking for first-shift brass cal sorting associates.
*SUMMARY:*
Performs repetitive bench or line operations to mass-produce igniters.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Primary functions are spiraling, load boating, sandblasting, electrical slot cut, aluminum spray, nickel spray, crush test, and inspection.
Occasionally, coverage in any production/assembly area as required.
Process raw materials and handle hazardous chemicals according to work instructions and OSHA safety standards.
Spiraling: Operation of industrial machinery using manual dexterity.
Load Boat: Unload and clean parts for line production.
Sandblasting: Continuous feeding and unloading of parts.
Electrical Slot Cut: Manually cutting individual parts with a repetitive hand motion.
Aluminum and Nickel Spray: Applying metal tipping in a designated spray room.
Crush Test: Testing parts for crush resistance.
Inspection: Final visual inspection of finished parts.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Keeps accurate records and follows verbal and written work instructions.
Follow strict PPE requirements per work instructions.
LOTO certification in required areas.
Must maintain a reliable attendance record.

*QUALIFICATIONS*:
