Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, and stairs
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Use hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut, and shape materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in roof construction techniques
- Knowledge of masonry work including concrete forming
- Ability to plumb walls and structures accurately
- Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Skilled in drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with flooring installation methods
