The Performance Excellence Disciplined Operations Lead (PEDOL) serves as the integrator for Disciplined Operations (DO) across organizations.
Disciplined Operations describes the culture of doing the right task, the right way, at the right time, every time.
It’s the actions that every level of manager and worker does to implement site-wide excellence in the execution of Pantex and Y-12 Conduct of Operations program requirements.
Simply put: Requirements + Execution = Mission Success.
As the catalyst melding these ventures, the Performance Excellence Disciplined Operations Lead will: Integration Serve as the facilitator and integrator for company-wide Disciplined Operations initiatives.
Lead collaboration and integration amongst Pantex and Y-12 Disciplined Operations, Conduct of Operations (ConOps), and Performance Excellence subject matter experts (SMEs) and action leads.
Support the Disciplined Operations Specialist (DOS) teams in their ConOps oversight and guidance roles.
Support the ConOps Functional Requirements Owners in their enhancement efforts.
Ensure that company focus and the floor level focus on Disciplined Operations are aligned.
Trend Analysis and Problem Prevention (TAPP) Plan and facilitate the TAPP function.
This forum utilizes a collective group of operations experienced SMEs from across the enterprise.
Serve as an analytics leader performing detailed analysis to look for patterns, potential similarities, and/or trends that may indicate possible programmatic deficiencies or latent organizational weaknesses.
This involves compiling data from disparate sources transcending organizational boundaries as well as combining database numbers with information from unstructured or qualitative sources (reviews of recent issues/events, correspondence letters, etc.
).
Provide TAPP reports for high visibility venues (Disciplined Operations Council, Significant Events Council, Vice Presidents, the Executive Leadership Team meetings).
Disciplined Operations Council (DOC) Plan and host the monthly Sr.
Leadership DOC.
Strategize with Sr.
Leadership and subject matter experts on Disciplined Operations cultural strategies and enablers.
Facilitate cross company Disciplined Operations initiatives/plans and provide high visibility action tracking.
Recommend prioritization or integration of similar or complementary efforts.
Provide on the shop floor coaching and support for sustained Disciplined Operations implementation.
Significant Events Council (SEC)/Operational Awareness Report (OAR) Support the planning and bi-weekly execution of the SEC.
Support the development and issue of the monthly OAR response.

OR a PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math or Physics discipline with a minimum 3.
5 cumulative GPA and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
There is a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) requirement up to 4 years post-graduation at time of offer and confirmed by transcript.
Beyond four years from graduation, engineering experience will supersede GPA as a requirement for hire.
Preferred Job Requirements Leadership and/or significant support role experience in a high hazard compliance environment.
