As a Yard Worker you will be responsible for operating forklifts of various sizes, moving material throughout the facility, loading precast products, and managing product yard inventory while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure efficiency.

Attends daily safe start meetings and follows all safe work practices and procedures.
Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean and safe work area.
Trained and demonstrate competence in operation of a 18,000 pounds forklift and yard truck in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to operate hand tools and various saws.
Operation of loader and other equipment, a plus
Knowledge of proper rigging and principles.
Provide ground hand signals to other operators.
Examine received material to verify conformance to quality standards.
Responsible for shipping of production products per Planning Schedule and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
Perform all pre-shift inspections prior to equipment operation.
Professionally interact with internal and external customers.

What Do You Need.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment
Previous forklift operation experience preferred
Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates ability to follow instructions and work positively within a team
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Good visual acuity
