We are a busy small animal practice in Fountain City (northeast Knoxville, TN) seeking a full time customer service representative (front desk receptionist).
We are open 5 days/week and pride ourselves in exceptional customer service.
This job would be ideal for an experienced veterinary assistant or veterinary technician that needs to step back from the physical requirements of the medical work, but still wants to be involved in the daily operation of a high quality veterinary practice.
The position is full time, averaging about 36-40 hours/week.
Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Duties include but not limited to: Greeting clients and pets, checking in clients, weighing patients, answering multi-line phone, providing information and scheduling appointments over the phone, patient call-backs, reminder calls and light cleaning.
Training will be provided.
This is a busy multi-faceted job.
Qualified applicants must be a team player, have good computer skills, positive attitude, be a quick learner, be a hard worker and manage their time, and possess exceptional people skills.
Veterinary reception or medical experience preferred.
Previous experience with Avimark, Ally DVM, social media, and other administrative tasks are beneficial.
