We would like to have someone start initially as a sub and if schedules permit would transition into a regularly scheduled instructor.

Angela Floyd School for Dance and Music, LLC is a privately owned school that was founded in 1997.
We have 2 locations in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.

We are Knoxville’s largest dance and music teaching school with over 700 students attending weekly classes between our 2 locations.
We cater mainly to children.
About 90% of our students are between 2 and 16 years old.
We welcome adult students but our suburban market area has resulted in a student base of mainly children.

We realize that most of our students will not become professional musicians or dancers.

Candidates must have an excellent and friendly personality, and love working with small children through adults.

A degree in music is a plus, but advanced level training at the university level, or performance experience and or teaching experience is needed.

This is a contract position, from the start of your contract date, with an option to extend the contract.
Training can start as soon as you are hired.

Teaching times are available between 3:30am - 9:30pm.
Monday - Thursday and morning and additional day time hours can be added as needed and Friday and Saturday.
