Coordinator - Student Conduct & Community Standards - 240000009M Position Announcement Coordinator - (Multiple Positions) Student Conduct & Community Standards The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the coordinator position for Student Conduct & Community Standards.
This is an exempt, 12-month, full time, non-tenure track staff position.
Student Conduct & Community Standards develops student integrity and accountability through an educational, consistent, and equitable conduct process.
The Position: Reporting to the Assistant Director for Student Organization Misconduct, the primary duties of the coordinator for Student Conduct & Community Standards are as follows: Investigate and adjudicate student & student organization Code violations Hold follow up and probation meetings with students Supervise graduate assistant(s) Supervise practicum student(s) Assist with the selection and training of graduate assistant staff and practicum students Coordinate, develop, and present trainings for Student Conduct Board faculty, staff, & student members Advise and present to on-campus and off-campus entities regarding university policy and interpret the UT standards of conduct Serve as liaison between department and other campus & community partners Collaborate with campus entities regarding educational sanction programs Serve on campus committees as assigned The University and Region: UTK is the state’s flagship, land-grant university.

What We Require: Education: Bachelor’s degree Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships and university students, faculty, and staff Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of best practices, policies, and legal issues in the field Experience conducting trainings and/or presentations What We Prefer: Experience and Abilities: Knowledge of laws and policies effecting student rights and privacy Experience advising, training, or serving on student conduct boards Experience presenting to groups Experience with data collection and reporting Experience with student disciplinary processes Experience with Maxient software Salary: $41,000-44,000.
Commensurate with experience and other qualifications and is accompanied by a full university benefits package.
