School Age Teachers

Summary The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
Part Time Job Hours: M-F 12:30-6 or 3-6 (Can be flexible to work around College Student schedules) Summer: Full & Part Time positions Duties Create weekly Lesson Plans & Monthly Newsletters Provide fun games & Gross Motor skill activities Plan activities in the classroom that relate to weekly classroom themes Supervise 20 school agers between the ages of 6-12 Communicate with students & parents Supervise during Field Trips Clean & Organize classroom Decorate classroom according to Monthly theme Requirements Background check Physical Experience interacting with children ages 6-12 Complete required training courses prior to start date Benefits Pay depends upon experience and education.
