The Opportunity Reporting to the eLearning Manager, this position has primary responsibility for technical assistance to users of the learning management system and administration of LMS and EOD programs.
The eLearning Coordinator provides training and assistance to campus learning authorities (CLA's).
Duties for this position include learning event coordination, technical planning and assistance for conferences, learning management system support, eLearning course design and updates, LMS related report generation, and LMS user training.
EOD social media presence, office management responsibilities, and EOD technical support are also duties of this position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: LMS Administration and Technical Assistance/Support Provide first level K@TE learning management system tech support for EOD and its customers Assist EOD and Campus Learning Administrators (CLA's)with K@TE course set up, curriculum configuration, learning assignments, and report generation Provide training to CLA's Assist EOD and CLA's with course design and updates Assist EOD in implementation of UTSA required initiatives that reach all campuses and institutes Provide computer and AV support and other technical assistance for EOD learning events Maintain the EOD social media presence Metrics and Logistics Provide guidance, supervision, and work assignment to Student Worker (s) Establish and maintain electronic tracking of supplies and equipment inventory Leadership Institute Support to include assistance with logistics planning Ensure tracking and metrics reporting of learning events Coordinate technical assistance for major EOD conferences and other learning events Technical Support Provide computer training and LMS support training Provide technical support for EOD staff Manage the MS Teams EOD learning cohorts Attend K@TE Governess Committee meetings Requirements for Qualification The successful candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree with two (2) years administrative / office working with employee related information and/or learning management systems to include entering and retrieving data, report generation, and training constituents.
One (1) year experience of IT related customer service experience of assisting and meeting customer service needs.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
The successful candidate will have: Knowledge of eLearning, learning management systems and IT support.
Understanding of computer, audio/video, and general office equipment with ability to set-up and maintain Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task with a high level of efficiency Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Ability to research solutions, learn, and apply new knowledge rapidly Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development (HRD) / Training, Business or Instructional Technology.
The preferred candidate will have: Learning or other event management experience in an education or other business environment Supervisory experience Experience with Articulate or similar software.
Experience using IRIS (SAP) and/or Cornerstone or similar systems Experience providing technical support and training in a professional development unit.
