Head Instructor - Premier Martial Arts
Job Summary
A head instructor with Premier Martial Arts (PMA) is a person who has a passion for changing lives through day-to-day martial arts instruction.
An outgoing and leadership-driven personality is a must.
A person who can not only teach but more importantly inspire others to be their best version of themselves is required.
A PMA instructor utilizes the tools given to them to impact as many people as possible and is always a student themselves.
A learning attitude is key for the success of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Instruction of High Energy, Benefit Driven, and “edutaining” classes
Complete student tracking, rankings, and reporting to determine graduation windows and overall progress
Talent Management - Select, train, develop, and motivate additional class instructors.
Lead through on-going communication, timely feedback, positive reinforcement, written evaluations and performance feedback.
Address performance concerns.
Lead the creation of curriculum that follows PMA guidelines for instruction
Organize and execute student graduation classes
Work with the Area/Studio Manager to complete class planning and management
Partner with the Program director to help drive marketing programs to increase student memberships
Assist with the execution of initiatives and activities including marketing campaigns and community/event sponsorships.
Participate in special events as scheduled
