THIS POSTING IS FOR THE 2024 SEASON Summary: The NOC Paddling School has a long-storied history of being the leaders in paddling instruction.
Our staff created some of the early paddling curriculum, lead many first descents in the region and abroad, broken gender barriers and are highlighted as one of the best schools in the nation.
The Paddling School Office Administrator is charged with holding the high standards and expectations and assists the department manager in overseeing operations and guest facing activities.
This position reports directly to the Paddling School Department Manager.
This is a part time position that will work between 2 and 3 days a week for the duration of the paddling school season The season is March to October of 2024 Paddling School Office Administration: • Assist in scheduling Paddling School programs • Maintain & develop strong relationships with current & future guests • Compile and submit permit use reports • Track accurate Paddling School guest and instructor numbers • Assist with guest incoming and outgoing phone calls and customer service needs • Other duties as assigned Paddling School Program Logistics: • Provide program logistical support • Coordinate operational needs with other NOC departments • Support Paddling School manager in maintaining current equipment inventories & operational area • Assist with vehicle maintenance plan and scheduling Position Qualifications: Education: • High School Graduate • A four-year college degree or higher is preferred.
Experience: • Knowledge and experience with software applications - spreadsheets, word processing, and database management • Excellent organizational and logistics skills • Valid driver’s license Qualities: • Flexibility and efficient time management skills to prioritize workload • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Ability to perform as a team player, take direction as well as function independently Please note that as an employer with over 100 employees, NOC will be required to comply with any OSHA Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard should that standard be enacted.
