JOB SUMMARY:
To provide a safe, effective and fun group training class for every member.
Our members entrust that our instructors will share safety & alignment tips, alternative options for movement, and exude a passion for the specialty class they lead.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Serving as the instructor during group training classes
Serving as a group coach who can provide members with verbal cueing for safety, alignment, and a variety of options for all exercises taught.
Serving as an instructor who can model great technique with exercise performed in group training classes.
Promoting club services, products and activities through interaction with members/guests
Maintaining a clean and professional appearance while leading group training classes
Maintaining accurate scheduling records for your scheduled classes and any classes you sub, so that no classes are missed due to miscommunication.
Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings as needed.

Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS – WHO YOU ARE:
Certified in CPR and First Aid (if not already certified, must be certified within the first 30 days of employment)
Must demonstrate a professional, upbeat demeanor at all times
Ability to multi-task by providing both great technique in classes, and great coaching for members.
Ability to keep up with the scheduling of your classes and any classes you sub.
Ability to keep all of your certifications and licenses current and in good standing
Ability to arrive to your group training class a little early, and stay a few minutes to help answer member questions, meet new guests, and connect with our member community.
Ability to attend Company-wide, annual group training meetings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the team is frequently required to walk and stand up to 8 hours/day and/or sit for an extended period of time.
Team members may be exposed to cleaning chemicals or airborne particles and will be required to wear designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as directed.
Team members are occasionally required to use hands and fingers for handle or feel; occasional reach, push and pulling with arms and hands; occasional climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and occasional reach and twist, including side-to-side movements.
The team member may be required to occasionally lift, carry or move up to 25 pounds and may seldom be required to lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.
