As a licensed childcare provider, we must adhere to numerous regulations set forth by DHS and other agencies.
A typical day in the Preschool classrooms includes preparing and delivering classroom activities, communicating with staff and parents, and ensuring that the learning environment remains safe at all times.
*Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:* · Create lesson plans for daily activities in line with the TN-ELDs Developmental Standards · Engage with young children in activities that are developmentally appropriate · Foster a positive and healthy learning environment · Ensure the classroom is kept in a clean and safe condition at all times · Read stories to the children as a group activity · Encourage creative thinking and learning *Qualifications for Preschool Teacher:* · High school diploma or equivalent · Abe to pass a background check · Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting · Maintain a positive attitude and communicate respectfully with parents and staff at all times · Strong knowledge of early childhood education and methods for teaching young children · Patient and supportive approach to the learning process · Enthusiastic and encouraging · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to stand and move around for long hours at a time while teaching · Excellent problem-solving skills · A passion for early childhood development Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.
