Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team.
As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire students of all ages.
This is a paid position, and we offer competitive compensation based on experience.
Duties:
- Develop and implement dance lesson plans for various age groups and skill levels
- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines in a variety of dance styles
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression
- Plan and organize dance recitals, performances, and showcases
- Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate class schedules and events
- Maintain a clean and safe dance studio environment
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in dance, with expertise in one or more dance styles (e.
g.
, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary)
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques, terminology, and choreography
- Experience working with students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline while fostering a positive learning atmosphere
- Certification or degree in dance or related field is preferred but not required
