Union College, KY is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the School of Health and Natural Sciences for Spring 2024 (January 2024 start date).
Founded in 1879, Union is a small, liberal arts college in southeastern KY.
Union has a long history of commitment to Appalachia and provides quality education accessible to a wide range of students, including underrepresented groups such as first-generation students.
The School of Health and Natural Sciences seeks an energetic individual who is student-centered and committed to quality undergraduate teaching.
The applicant should be able to teach a broad range of both lower and upper-level courses in Exercise Science.
Experience with instruction under various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online) is expected.
Union College faculty are also responsible for student advising, program development and assessment, committee work, participation in college governance, and continuing professional development activities.
*Minimum requirements: *Master’s degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field.
At least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses.
A Ph.
D.
is preferred, and college teaching experience is a plus for this position.
This is a 9-month contract position and rank negotiable based upon qualifications and experience upon hire.
