Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive social interactions
- Conduct assessments to track each child's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with literacy education and early childhood curriculum frameworks
Skills:
- Behavior management: Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children.
- Curriculum development: Proficiency in developing age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining an organized and engaging classroom environment.
