*Job Summary:*
We are looking for a CDL to join our team at Liberty Tire Recycling.
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating a truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete tire removal services for customers by dropping empty trailers at customer sites and bringing loaded trailers back to the company drop yard.
* Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to pick up and deliver pre-loaded trailers (drops) to designated locations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer to ensure roadworthiness.
* Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution to prevent shifting during transport.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other team members to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs.
* Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pick-ups, deliveries, and hours of service.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues or concerns to management.
* Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition.
*Qualifications:*
* 21 years of age with Class A CDL
* Must have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOT
* Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience
* Must pass post-offer background, DOT physical and drug test
* Must be willing to be professional at all times at our tire stores.
