Job Title: Dishwasher - Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our kitchen area.
You will work alongside our culinary team to ensure a smooth and seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
2.
Load, operate, and empty dishwashing machines thoroughly and safely.
3.
Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
4.
Sort, stack, and store cleaned items accordingly in the appropriate areas.
5.
Assist the culinary team by prepping ingredients and setting up workstations.
6.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen surfaces, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
7.
Dispose of trash, empty garbage cans, and recycle properly.
8.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage guidelines.
9.
Follow proper cleaning schedules, performing routine cleaning tasks in a timely manner.
10.
Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with other team members to ensure there is no disruption in kitchen operations.
11.
Assist with inventory management by keeping track of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages or replenishment needs.
12.
Assist co-workers with tasks when necessary, promoting teamwork and a positive working environment.
Requirements: 1.
Proven experience as a Dishwasher or similar role would be advantageous.
2.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
3.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
4.
Excellent physical stamina, as the role requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy items occasionally.
5.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling.
6.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
7.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
8.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions: The dishwasher will primarily work in a kitchen environment.
The role may involve exposure to kitchen chemicals and cleaning agents.
The dishwasher is required to follow all safety precautions and guidelines provided by the employer.
