*Job Description*
We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a beautiful private school in Knoxville, TN.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of kitchen experience, including the understanding of all food preparation and sanitation standards.
We are looking for someone who is organized, flexible, ambitious and a team player.
*Duties include but are not limited to:*
* Oversee and manage the kitchen staff, including the hiring and training, scheduling, staffing, performance management, and termination of employees.
* Ensure that all food prepared by the kitchen staff meets ChefAdvantage quality standards.
* Establish and maintain a schedule for all kitchen staff.
* Maintain inventory levels and ordering of food products as needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
* Ensure that all food products are stored properly.
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
* Perform daily inventory checks on all food products.
* Ensure that all food products are stored properly in the kitchen area.
* Ensure that all prep areas are kept clean and sanitized at all times.
* Perform daily cleaning duties in the kitchen area.
* Assist with cleaning up prep areas when needed.
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchen; Certified Kitchen Assistant is a plus
Must clear criminal background and drugscreen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
