*Job Overview:* The Aspire Foundation is seeking a very hands on, highly skilled and dynamic Operations Director to oversee the comprehensive management of Overall Park Operations, All Building/Equipment and Facilities Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Playground Maintenance, Cleaning and Sanitation, Trash Pickup, Guest Services, Security, Experience Upkeep, and Reception Desk within our organization.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning and enhancement of our facilities, contributing to an outstanding experience for all visitors.
*Responsibilities:*
* Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure the upkeep of all buildings, equipment, and facilities.
* Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of assets.
* Establish and completely bid out all work and maintenance of the entire park.
Specifically, all elements of construction.
* Develop and execute strategies for the efficient and effective overall operation of the park.
* Collaborate with various departments to optimize workflows and enhance guest experiences.
* Assist Events Manager with all aspects of setting up and breaking down all events, conferences, and concerts.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
* Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
* Supervise the maintenance and safety of playgrounds, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement routine inspection processes for playground equipment.
* Manage cleaning and sanitation protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the park.
* Implement and monitor sanitation schedules to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests.
* Coordinate and optimize trash pickup schedules to maintain cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
* Implement waste reduction initiatives.
* Oversee guest services to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all visitors.
* Implement training programs for staff to enhance customer service skills.
* Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard guests, employees, and assets.
* Form relationships with local law enforcement and EMS for collaborative safety efforts.
* Supervise reception desk operations to ensure friendly, professional, and accurate information is given to guests.
* Implement training programs for reception staff to handle inquiries and provide excellent service.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with local police and emergency medical services (EMS) for safety and emergency planning.
* Collaborate with external partners to enhance emergency response capabilities.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction or general building knowledge, or a related field.
* Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards.
* Familiarity with emergency planning and response procedures.
