Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services and resolve any issues or complaints
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and guests
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with custodial procedures and best practices
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
