This is an excellent position for an upper level or graduate level college student or teacher that is seeking to gain leadership experience, conflict resolution skills, communication, and problem solving.

* *Training and Orientation:* Play a key role in planning and executing staff training, ensuring our team is well-equipped to create a fun and exciting camp environment.
* *Guidance and Supervision:* Lead by example by guiding, supervising, and inspiring camp staff to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
* *Program Planning:* Infuse your creativity into planning engaging camp activities, ensuring a perfect blend of fun, education, and adventure.
* *Parent Communication:* Keep parents in the loop with daily updates, announcements, and reminders.
* *Staff Evaluations:* Conduct constructive staff evaluations, fostering growth and creating a team that continuously strives for excellence.
* *Special Events:* Plan and execute exciting special events and weekly themes that become the "magic" of the camp experience.
*Requirements:*
* *Passion for Youth Development:* A genuine love for fostering personal growth and creating positive experiences for campers.
Prior experience e working with children is required.
* *Effective Communication:* Strong communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and campers.
* *Creative Vision:* Bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table for camp programming and special events.
* *Leadership Skills:* Proven ability and experience to lead and inspire a team, creating a cohesive and positive camp culture.
* *Summer Availability:* Available from May 6-August 2, 2024.
