Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities: - Help and assist the Lead Teach create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to educate and engage children in a daycare setting.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up after children.
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns or updates.
Skills: - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing environment for young children.
- Understanding of special education needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education best practices.
