Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a childcare setting
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow established policies and procedures for behavior management and discipline
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving, preschool, or early childhood education preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to engage children in educational and interactive activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or needs of the children
