For sale is an engine bay brace, for a 1965-1970 Mustang or Cougar.
We make this brace here in my shop, and I have a patent, and trademark on it.
The legal name on it is Heavy Duty Engine Bay Brace.
I had to name it this because Export Brace was already used for the Export Brace.
My brace is much better than anything on the market, It's made out of 1" x 3" - 1/8" wall tubing.
The problem with the factory pieces is that they are just too weak to hold the shock towers in the right place.
Then the export brace is too weak also, I've installed the export brace on many cars and then the shock towers would come back in and bend the brace.
With my brace the shock towers won't move and they won't come back in and bend the brace.
When comparing my brace to the other aftermarket braces, all of them that I've seen are too weak to do any good.
The shock towers are moving in and out as you are driving down the road, my brace holds them secure where they are supposed to be, making your car handle and drive better.
These
other braces that are adjustable with heim joints aren't any good.
It isn't good to adjust the brace to the car, you have to adjust the car to the brace.
I SPREAD THE SHOCK TOWERS OUT TO THE FACTORY SPECS, AND THEN MAKE MY BRACE TO THE FACTORY SPECS, RIGHT ON A CAR THAT HAS THE SHOCK TOWERS IN THE RIGHT PLACE, SO WHEN YOU INSTALL MY BRACE YOU ARE TAKING YOUR SHOCK TOWERS BACK OUT TO THE FACTORY SPECS.
THIS MAKES YOUR CAR HANDLE AND FEEL BETTER WHILE YOUR DRIVING.
