The University of the Cumberlands is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant within the Forcht School of Nursing.
The position will assist the ADN Program Coordinator and Nurse Aide Coordinator with administrative duties.
The candidate will report to the ADN Program Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities: The Forcht School of Nursing Administrative Assistant will have responsibilities in the following areas:
Assist the Program Coordinators with data gathering and maintenance of records.
Assist with maintenance of records in the Nurse Aide and ADN programs including student exams, check offs, monitoring of Kentucky Board of Nursing website for abuse reporting, etc.
General duties such as typing, scheduling, filing (both paper and electronic), assistance with planning of events.
Assist the ADN program coordinator with verification of preceptor licensure every semester at least once annually.
Assist with the filing and tracking of affiliation agreements, preceptor agreements, site visit forms, and various evaluation forms.
Meeting invitations and typing of agendas/minutes.
Filing of budget receipts, assist with credit card coding, budget tracking, Purchase Orders and Authorization for Payment forms.
Manage office and clinical supplies.
Promote the growth of the Department of Nursing.
Complete any additional duties as assigned by the ADN Program Coordinator or VPAA.
Job Requirements:
The candidate should:
Hold at minimum a high school diploma
Be competent in the usage of basic technology such as email, internet, conference call lines, and Microsoft Office
Demonstrate a history of employee excellence.
