Human Resource Generalist Top Concepts is looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Human Resources Department.

As a Human Resource Generalist for Top Concepts, this individual will be responsible for supporting twelve unique locations and brands with a Solutions-First approach.
The ideal candidate must possess strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
Job Duties Recruiting Organize and attend events to recruit new employees for all locations.
Maintain social media postings on Facebook groups and LinkedIn.
Answer messages and comments regarding job postings.
Serve as an active member of internship organizations, school advisory boards.
Partner with the local schools to organize tours, field trips, internships, and school speaking engagements.
Attend Career Fairs with our local partners.
Conduct phone interviews and collaborate with the HR team on scheduling onsite interviews.
Participate in internal promotion interviews at all locations.
Onboarding Complete all tasks related to onboarding new hires including document collection, E-verify and verifying tax information Run background checks Answer employee inquiries regarding check stubs, basic benefits, and payroll changes.
Complete VOEs for current and former employees Manage employee payroll deductions and garnishments in HRIS system.
Respond to messages from candidates.
Benefits Administration and Compensation Assist with payroll processing and payroll administration as needed.
Setup and maintain benefits deductions in payroll portal General Ledger for QuickBooks.
Assist with Insurance claims as needed.
Maintain a working knowledge of all benefits offerings, regular shopping coverages to ensure the best benefits for our staff.
Enroll FTE employees in Employee Navigator.
Assist each eligible employee during open enrollment as directed by the HR Director.
Follow up with all new hires to ensure timely enrollment in benefits for mid year enrollments, newly eligible employees or qualifying events.
Terminate benefits as needed.
Calculate monthly deductions and add them to payroll for each employee.
Complete open enrollment with assistance from HR team members and brokerage firms.
Assist leased labor companies and Top Concepts locations with regard to disciplinary action, billing, and staffing.
Assist employees not eligible for company benefits with additional resources regarding healthcare, mental health, etc.
Create and maintain community partnerships for benefits.
Assist in preparing 1095-Cs Business Insurance File all C-20s and C-42s with insurance companies with regard to worker’s compensation.
Maintain annual files for all insurance coverages.
Respond to state minor audits as needed.
Employee Morale and Employee Relations Assist HR Director in planning all team building and corporate events.
Foster an environment that equips, empowers, and encourages employees for ongoing success.
Coach employees using “managing by walking around” technique.
Maintain a positive relationship with management at all locations.
Be on call for emergencies regarding disciplinary actions, crisis, employee relations, etc.
Provide resources for employees in need.
Act as a mediator for employee conflict.
Progressive Discipline Advise management teams on policies and disciplinary action for employees at all locations.
Conduct write ups and terminations as needed.
Handle issues regarding reasonable suspicion, sexual harassment, and other serious offenses in accordance with company policy and state and federal laws.
Compliance Maintain the employee handbook, creating new policies as needed.
Oversee all compliance regarding FLSA, FMLA, PWFA, USCIS, ADA, etc.
Maintain a working knowledge of TN state and Federal HR Law Qualifications Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups of employees and at local partner meetings.
High School Diploma Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or HR Assistant preferred Basic knowledge of HR law preferred (FLSA, FMLA, labor law, etc.
) Positive and upbeat attitude Highly energetic with a strong commitment to servant leadership.
Must be able to manage various projects simultaneously.
Must maintain a positive attitude with a commitment to ethical standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong desire to learn required.
Skills Proficiency in Google Suite Experience with BambooHR or TRAX Payroll is a plus.
Experience with Employee Navigator is a plus.
