Purpose and Essential Functions
Responsible administrative and accounting work assisting with the daily operations while performing clerical work.
Activities associated with the job include assisting customers both in person and on the telephone by providing information and assistance.
Job Responsibilities
Maintenance of detailed records pertaining to daily transactions and balance all funds received on a daily basis.
Incumbents have extensive contact with the public and are subject to a high volume of work during certain times of the month.
Activities associated with the job require good customer service functions, computer operations, organizational skills, filing, maintaining accurate records, data entry, interpersonal and decision making skills, handling of currency, and dedicated attention to details and unquestionable integrity.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, keystrokes, grasping and fine motor skills.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Must possess a good working knowledge of modern office procedures and departmental procedures.
Additionally, a working knowledge of methods as required in the performance of duties, and a good working knowledge of applicable laws, guidelines and principles according to Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) pertaining to motor vehicle titles and registrations.
Must possess and maintain a valid Tennessee driver's license.
