Patient Services Representative

The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Patient Services Representative (PSR) assists patients and supports the nursing and administrative staff.
For more than 30 years, The Pouch Place, through its two locations and online presence, has provided its ostomy patients the highest level of customer service through its small welcoming staff.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following.

· Receiving and processing a high volume of calls using a multi-line phone system · Accurately taking supply orders over the phone and in person · Completing new patient intakes · Updating patient records · Electronically filing appropriate documentation · Scheduling patient appointments · Inventory management assistance · Exhibit excellent communication and patient service skills · Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the products, services and medical guidelines · An ability to work well with the nursing, patient services and billing team · A high level of attention to detail and proficient computer skills · Participates in Quality Improvement and Performance Improvement activities · Participates in traditional and e-learning programs · Any other duties and responsibilities as defined by Director of Patient Services and Leadership Team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
