BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Under the general supervision within ETCH Outpatient Pharmacy guidelines, provides technical and administrative assistance in the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy operation.
Assists in the dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals, fills routine orders for non-prescription pharmaceuticals, and provides direct customer assistance and routine problem resolution to patients dropping off and picking up prescriptions.
Coordinates the billing, cash management, and discal tracking operations of the pharmacy, and oversees inventory and data management activities in support of pharmacy operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High School/GED preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years pharmacy of experience in a retail/ outpatient pharmacy preferred.
Previous work experience in a 340B pharmacy preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
Registration with the TN Board of Pharmacy required within 90 days of employment.
Actuve CPhT status from the PTCB required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs.
Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required.
Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
