Job Summary We are hiring a Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manager to help oversee a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved training organization (ATO) to serve Cirrus Aircraft customers’ initial and recurrent training needs for the Vision Jet.
You will also perform similar functions within the existing FAA 142 Training Center to ensure training program and regulatory compliance.
You will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with team of supervisors, instructors, and pilots to create outstanding and safe flight training experiences and ensure the ATO remains in compliance with all UK CAA and EASA regulations.

The Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manger is responsible for the day-to-day safety and compliance of the flight training program and maintain regulatory compliance, build strong relationships and serve as the point of contact with the UK CAAA and EASA.
In this role, you will take point on creating a safe and secure facility that ensures that both customers and employees are able to have outstanding and safe training experiences.
You will work with a cross-functional team of instructors to ensure the ATO remains in compliance with all UK CAA and EASA regulations.

The Compliance Monitoring Manager is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, strong relationships with the UK CAA and EASA, and staying abreast of any new possible regulations pertaining to the ATO.
In this role, you will take point on ensuring the ATO executes its mission in a safe and efficient way for both its employees and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Must ensure that the activities of the organization are monitored for compliance with Part ORA, Part FCL, company procedures and in accordance with the compliance manual.
Holds the responsibility to monitor that all activities conducted by the ATO are being carried out properly under the supervision of the relevant head of functional area.
Holds the responsibility for ensuring that the compliance monitoring program is properly implemented, maintained, and continually reviewed and improved.
Appoints, oversees and directs the compliance auditors.
Travel requirements may be up to 10% of time, must have ability to travel internationally.
Acting as the focal point for the safety management system The development, administration, and maintenance of an effective safety management system Facilitating hazard identification, risk analysis and management Monitoring the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan Providing periodic reports on safety performance Ensuring maintenance of safety management documentation Ensuring that there is safety management training available and that it meets acceptable standards Providing advice on safety matters Ensuring initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence/accident investigations Attending Safety Review Board meetings Chair Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings and report safety findings to the Safety Review Board Communicate to the Accountable Manager all information, as necessary, to allow decision making based on safety data Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
